G 102 - Introduction to Geology - Environmental Geology


Credits - 4 Lecture - 3 Lab - 1
This course examines plate tectonics; earthquakes and volcanoes; surface processes; and the use of geologic and atmospheric resources. Special consideration will be given to how human society interacts with these geologic systems.
Prerequisite: MTH 025  or Placement and RD 090  or Placement Course fulfills laboratory science requirement. Need not be taken in sequence. This becomes an elective if G 202  is taken
