IST 145 - Electric Motor and Controls Troubleshooting Credits - 3 Lecture - 2 Lab - 1 Students will learn to troubleshot and maintain motor control systems, including single phase, three phase, and stepper and servo motors. Motor control schematic analysis and motor efficiency are primary topics of coverage. This course provides foundational material that is critical to the understanding of the operation of PLC and automated control systems. Term(s) Offered: Winter Course Designation: C/T Elective - A maximum of 12 credits of college-level career and technical courses may be used as electives in the A.A.O.T. and the A.A.S. degrees.
