CJ 100 - Introduction to Criminal Justice Credits - 3 Lecture - 3 This course will provide an overview of the types and purpose of law as well as the nature and extent of crime in American society. The focus is on introducing the student to the history, philosophy, and social development of police, courts, and corrections in the United States as a legal response to criminal behavior.
