IST 267 - Process Control and Instrumentation Credits - 3 Lecture/Lab - 3 Level and Flow Process Control teaches two of the most common types of process control systems: flow and liquid level. This course covers process control safety, instrument tags, piping and instrumentation diagrams, and level measurement, then moves into system control functions such as liquid level control, automatic control methods, basic flow measurement and control, and control loop performance. Prerequisite: IST 147 Term(s) Offered: Spring Course Designation: C/T Elective - A maximum of 12 credits of college-level career and technical courses may be used as electives in the A.A.O.T. and the A.A.S. degrees.
