UAS 112 - UAS Flight Training I Credits - 4 Lecture/Lab - 4 This course develops initial VLOS flight training on basic multi‐rotor, and fixed-wing aircraft in controlled and uncontrolled airspace environments. Students build proficiency on multiple platforms to include takeoff, landing, maneuvering, emergency procedures, and mission planning. Course Designation: Discipline Studies - A transferable course that meets distribution (group) requirements in the Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer (A.A.O.T.) degree and the Associate of Science (A.S.) degree. Note: Courses meeting distribution requirements may always be used as electives in the transfer degrees.
