Explains operating principles of centrifugal, propeller, and turbine, rotary, reciprocating, and metering pumps. Includes special-purpose pumps, diaphragm pumps, and others designed to handle corrosive and abrasive substances. Covers pump maintenance, packing gland, seal, and bearing replacement.
