BI 222Z - Principles of Biology: Organisms

Credits - 5 Lecture - 4 Lab - 1
Explores fundamental biological concepts and theories about the structure and function of diverse organisms (including plants and animals), evolution and development, transformation of energy and matter, and body systems at a multicellular organismal level. Intended for science majors. 
Recommended preparation: MTH 062  or higher

Course Designation: Discipline Studies - A transferable course that meets distribution (group) requirements in the Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer (A.A.O.T.) degree and the Associate of Science (A.S.) degree. Note: Courses meeting distribution requirements may always be used as electives for transfer degrees. Meets Science general education requirement.  Meets Lab Science requirement.
