ANS 231 - Livestock Evaluation


Credits - 3 Lecture - 2 Lab - 1
This course is designed to develop livestock selection skills in cattle, sheep, swine, meat goats, and horses. Students will be able to place livestock classes and explain their reasoning for the class. Through this class, students will also have the opportunity to compete on the BMCC Judging team at National Collegiate Contests. After completion of this class and ANS 232 , students can obtain livestock judging jobs around the state.

Course Designation: C/T Elective - A maximum of 12 credits of college-level career and technical courses may be used as electives in the A.A.O.T. and the A.A.S. degrees.
