APR 117A - IMM Apprenticeship Reading Blueprints & Schematics Credits - 3 Lecture - 3 Introduces interpretation of blueprints, schematics, and symbols used in commercial and industrial settings. Covers mechanical and electrical drawings, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and piping systems. Emphasizes symbols, dimensions, tolerances, machine drawings, and sketching techniques, including welding and joining symbols. Students apply mathematical concepts to interpret drawings and support industrial maintenance tasks. Term(s) Offered: Fall, Winter, Spring Course Designation: C/T Elective - A maximum of 12 credits of college-level career and technical courses may be used as electives in the A.A.O.T. and the A.A.S. degrees.
