APR 117C - IMM Apprenticeship Metals in the Plant Credits - 1 Lecture - 1 Introduces metals, metallurgy, and metalworking processes used in industrial settings. Covers mechanical properties of metals, iron and standard steels, heat treatment methods, and common nonferrous metals including copper, aluminum, magnesium, titanium, lead, nickel, tin, and zinc as applied in plant operations. Term(s) Offered: Fall, Winter, Spring Course Designation: C/T Elective - A maximum of 12 credits of college-level career and technical courses may be used as electives in the A.A.O.T. and the A.A.S. degrees.
