DSL 152 - Manual Drive Trains I Credits - 3 Lecture - 2 Lab - 1 Principles and operation of power train components, including automotive and industry applications of clutches, drive lines, and gear transmissions. Transmission of force through the mechanism will be studied in theory and in labs. Detailed maintenance and repair of drive lines, clutches, gear transmissions, and transaxles with emphasis on problem diagnosis, repair, and replacement. Prerequisite: DSL 181 or AGM 131 Term(s) Offered: Winter Course Designation: C/T Elective - A maximum of 12 credits of college-level career and technical courses may be used as electives in the A.A.O.T. and the A.A.S. degrees.
