BI 232Z - Human Anatomy and Physiology II

Credits - 4 Lecture - 3 Lab - 1
Examines the structure and function of the human body through a body systems approach. Explores anatomy and physiology of the central and peripheral nervous, endocrine, and cardiovascular systems at the relevant levels of biological organization (chemical, cellular, tissue, organ, and organ system). Covers special senses and the autonomic nervous system. This course includes a laboratory component.
Prerequisite: BI 231Z   
Term(s) Offered: Winter, Spring
Course Designation: Discipline Studies - A transferable course that meets distribution (group) requirements in the Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer (A.A.O.T.) degree and the Associate of Science (A.S.) degree. Note: Courses meeting distribution requirements may always be used as electives in the transfer degrees. Meets Science general education requirement.  Meets Lab Science requirement.
