ECE 130 - Antibias and Multicultural Curriculum

Credits - 3 Lecture - 3
This course explores the goals of Anti-Bias Education through culturally responsive practices designed to reduce implicit bias and disproportionality. Using Pyramid Equity and Inclusion materials and practices, students will develop teaching strategies to address cultural conflict, support inclusive learning communities, and directly teach about similarities and differences in ways that affirm all children and families. The course takes a two-pronged approach, integrating Anti-Bias Education for all learners with intentional multicultural curriculum design.
