ED 251 - Literacy Development for Second Language Learners

Credits - 3 Lecture - 3
The purpose of this course is to explore researched based best practices for literacy instruction for second language learners. Students will examine English only, native language, and dual language literacy programs.
Recommended preparation: WR 060 
Course Designation: C/T Elective - A maximum of 12 credits of college-level career and technical courses may be used as electives in the A.A.O.T. and the A.A.S. degrees.
