IAT 247 - Advanced PLC Troubleshooting Credits - 3 Lecture - 2 Lab - 1 Other - This course is intended to develop advanced PLC programming skills. Students will convert common industrial control circuits to PLC ladder logic as well as create programs from narrative descriptions. Emphasis will be placed on interfacing the PLC with legacy control systems. Prerequisite: IAT 147 Lectures will be recorded by instructor and made available to students online with once per week lab sessions that must be attended in person. Course Designation: C/T Elective - A maximum of 12 credits of college-level career and technical courses may be used as electives in the A.A.O.T. and the A.A.S. degrees.
