NRS 224 - Scope of Practice/Integrated Practicum Credits - 9 Lecture - 2 Lab/Clinical - 7 This course is designed to formalize the clinical judgment, knowledge and skills necessary in safe registered nurse practice. The Clinical Teaching Associate provides a context that allows the student to experience the nursing work world in a selected setting, balancing the demands of a job and life long learner. Faculty/ Clinical Teaching Associate/student analysis and reflection throughout the experience provide the student with evaluative criteria against which they can judge their own performance and develop a practice framework. Prerequisite: NRS 222 Term(s) Offered: Spring Required for AAS and eligibility for RN licensure. Course Designation: C/T Elective - A maximum of 12 credits of college-level career and technical courses may be used as electives in the A.A.O.T. and the A.A.S. degrees.
