SOC 205 - General Sociology/Institutions and Social Change Credits - 4 Lecture - 4 This course introduces the following major social institutions: family, religion, education, economics, politics, and health care and the problems and issues existing within each. The focus is on modern American society and the impact of social change on major institutions. Prerequisite: WR 060 or Placement, WR 115 strongly recommended.
