UAS 110 - Introduction to Unmanned Aerial Systems Credits - 4 Lecture - 2 Lecture/Lab - 2 Students will gain a working knowledge of equipment and principles commonly utilized in the different classes of unmanned aerial vehicle systems (UAV’s). Discussions will include developing an understanding of the different components and programming associated with a UAV as well as applicable laws, safety, operation, and applications. Agricultural applications will be emphasized. Students will be prepared to take the Part 107 certification exam from the FAA. Course Designation: C/T Elective - A maximum of 12 credits of college-level career and technical courses may be used as electives in the A.A.O.T. and the A.A.S. degrees.
