ED 216 - Foundations of Education Credits - 4 Lecture - 4 This course provides an overview of the American Education System, including historical, legal, and philosophical foundations. Students will explore the governance of local schools and districts and will consider the roles and ethical obligations of professional educators. Prerequisite: WR 115 or higher Term(s) Offered: Fall Course Designation: Elective - A transferable course that can be used to fulfill undesignated elective requirements in the associate’s degree programs.
