ENG 204 - Survey of English Literature

Credits - 4 Lecture - 4
This course is a study of the principal works of English literature. Students concentrate on Anglo-Saxon and Medieval literature in the first term and become familiar with literary traditions through reading, lecture, discussion and film.
Recommended preparation: WR 121Z  
Prerequisite: WR 115  or Placement
Term(s) Offered: Fall
Course Designation: Discipline Studies - A transferable course that meets distribution (group) requirements in the Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer (A.A.O.T.) degree and the Associate of Science (A.S.) degree. Note: Courses meeting distribution requirements may always be used as electives in the transfer degrees.  Meets Arts and Letters (Humanities) requirement.
