WLD 112 - Advanced Arc Welding Credits - 3 Lecture/Lab - 3 An advanced level course for students who have previous knowledge of welding safety, basic practices, and terminology. The student will learn higher-level practices and improve their skills learned in the basic class. The course is designed to enhance skills in Shielded Metal Arc Welding, Gas Metal Arc Welding, Gas Tungsten Arc Welding, and Plasma Cutting. Advanced Oxy-Acetylene welds also performed. Prerequisite: WLD 111 or AGM 221 Term(s) Offered: Fall, Winter, Spring Course Designation: C/T Elective - A maximum of 12 credits of college-level career and technical courses may be used as electives in the A.A.O.T. and the A.A.S. degrees.
