BI 101 - General Biology for Non-Majors Credits - 4 Lecture - 3 Lab - 1 This course introduces the nature of scientific inquiry and applies fundamental concepts of cellular and molecular biology to scenarios and situations to engage the student in critical thinking about how biological principles can be applied to everyday life situations. This course does not need to be taken in sequence.
NOTE: BI101 is most appropriate for AS and AAOT non-science majors and agriculture and vet tech programs due to the broad nature of content focus. BI101 becomes an elective if BI 112 or BI 211 is taken.
