CH 227Z - General Chemistry I Laboratory

Credits - 1 Lab - 1
Experiments correspond to the topics covered in CH 221Z , including the fundamentals of chemical measurements, quantitative relationships in chemical analysis, and understanding atomic and molecular structure. CH227Z is the laboratory component; CH 221Z  is the lecture course.
Prerequisite: MTH 070  or higher (if repeating this course, CH 221Z  is also a prerequisite) Corequisite: CH 221Z

Course Designation: Discipline Studies - A transferable course that meets distribution (group) requirements in the Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer (A.A.O.T.) degree and the Associate of Science (A.S.) degree. Note: Courses meeting distribution requirements may always be used as electives for transfer degrees. Meets Science general education requirement.  Meets Lab Science requirement.
