DSL 251 - Heavy Duty Brakes II


Credits - 3 Lecture - 2 Lab - 1
Continuation of Heavy Duty Brakes I. This course focuses on the inspection, diagnostics, repair, and adjustments of air supply components and foundation brakes. This course includes Out-of-Service criteria and DOT inspection material. This course includes air disc brake systems inspection, diagnostics, repair, and adjustments. This course includes Antilock brakes and crash avoidance systems. This course will use industry-standard procedures taught with hands-on lab projects and uses interactive online programs to give students more training that is recognized by the industry.
Prerequisite: DSL 151  and DSL 181  or AGM 131
