VT 204 - Applied Radiology Credits - 3 Lecture - 3 Overview of the veterinary technician’s job in correlation with diagnostic imagining and ultrasound. This course covers the basic functions of a radiograph and an ultrasound machine with the emphasis on practical aspects of the veterinary clinic. Topic will include: radiographs machines, radiographic quality, radiation safety, positioning techniques and the function of an ultrasound machine. Prerequisites: VT 105 and VT 106 Term(s) Offered: Spring Course Designation: C/T Elective - A maximum of 12 credits of college-level career and technical courses may be used as electives in the A.A.O.T. and the A.A.S. degrees.
