HTM 226 - Event Management Credits - 3 Lecture - 3 The primary focus of this course is to introduce students to the management and operations of the meeting, convention and events of the hospitality and tourism industry. Students can expect to gain an understanding of what it takes to effectively plan and execute an event or function. Prerequisite: Either BA 104 or MTH 025 and WR 060 or WR 099 Term(s) Offered: Fall Course Designation: C/T Elective - A maximum of 12 credits of college-level career and technical courses may be used as electives in the A.A.O.T. and the A.A.S. degrees.
