FS 214 - Principles of Fire & Emergency Services Safety & Survival Credits - 3 Lecture - 3 Lab - This course introduces the basic principles and history related to the national firefighter life safety initiatives, focusing on the need for cultural and behavior change throughout the emergency services. Recommended Preparation: WR 115 , applied skills. Prerequisite: FS 169 Qualify within a limited entry program Course Designation: C/T Elective - A maximum of 12 credits of college-level career and technical courses may be used as electives in the A.A.O.T. and the A.A.S. degrees.
