CS 179 - Introduction to Networking Credits - 4 Lecture - 3 Lab - 1 Students will learn the essentials of installing, configuring, securing and maintaining computer networks. Students learn to diagnose and resolve simple network problems, analyze network traffic, and gain familiarity with common protocols and media types. CS 145 is a corequisite for this course Course Designation: C/T Elective - A maximum of 12 credits of college-level career and technical courses may be used as electives in the A.A.O.T. and the A.A.S. degrees.
