PHY 211 - General Physics with Calculus Credits - 5 Lecture - 4 Lab - 1 First of a three course sequence that provides an introduction to basic principles in physics. This course introduces concepts of motion, force, energy, and fluids. This course is designed for students who require a calculus based physics course as part of their course of study; typically for degrees in Physical Science or Engineering . Prerequisite: WR 115 or Placement and MTH 112 or higher; with MTH 251 as a corequisite.
