IST 248 - Programmable Logic Controllers III

Credits- 3 Other - 3
Programmable Logic Controllers III will continue where PLC II left off.  PLC III will use Amatrol PLC training equipment to cover timers and counters, sequencing, Move instructions as well as editing programs through Factory Talk software.  Anyone who successfully completes will have a solid understanding of PLCs and how they are used as the backbone of automated manufacturing systems.
Prerequisite: IST 247  
Term(s) Offered: Spring
Course Designation: C/T Elective - A maximum of 12 credits of college-level career and technical courses may be used as electives in the A.A.O.T. and the A.A.S. degrees.
