VT 120 - Clinical Lab Procedures I Credits - 4 Lecture - 3 Lab - 1 This course covers the valuable skills necessary to perform specific laboratory test. Topics include: laboratory instrument and equipment safety and maintenance, handling blood, urine and feces samples, performing a complete blood count, bone marrow examination, blood coagulation tests, urinalyses, normal and abnormal morphology, and parasitology. Term(s) Offered: Spring Course Designation: C/T Elective - A maximum of 12 credits of college-level career and technical courses may be used as electives in the A.A.O.T. and the A.A.S. degrees.
