G 101 - Introduction to Geology - Minerals and Rocks Credits - 4 Lecture - 3 Lab - 1 A study of the structure and composition of the Earth; minerals; sediments and soils; igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary rocks. Students will also be introduced to geologic mapping, and groundwater. Prerequisite: MTH 025 or Placement. Course fulfills laboratory science requirement. Need not be taken in sequence.
